Plumbing Renovation For A Historic University Residence
CIMCO provided plumbing installation and renovation services as part of the 2015–16 renovation of the Marshall University President’s House in Huntington, West Virginia. Built in 1923, the historic residence underwent its first significant renovation in more than 40 years, addressing building systems, accessibility and code-related needs while preserving its architectural character.
CIMCO’s work included new water, sewer and gas service lines from the street to the residence, along with plumbing associated with extensive kitchen and bathroom renovations. The work required careful coordination within the historic home as it was modernized for continued use by Marshall University.

Updating Critical Plumbing Systems Within a Historic Residence
CIMCO’s work focused on plumbing installation and renovation within the historic President’s House, supporting the comprehensive modernization of the nearly century-old residence.
The overall renovation included replacement of aging water, sewer and gas utilities, along with extensive kitchen and bathroom renovations. The work required integrating modern building systems while respecting the existing structure and historic character of the home.

KITCHEN RENOVATION
CIMCO’s plumbing work supported the complete renovation of the President’s House kitchen, including new fixture connections and associated water, waste and gas services incorporated into the updated space.
The finished kitchen demonstrates how new plumbing systems were integrated within a major interior renovation while maintaining the character and quality expected within the historic university residence.
