MECHANICAL SCOPE
High-Capacity Steam Generation for Hospital Operations
CIMCO’s work included installation and integration of the major mechanical systems serving the new boiler plant. Three 500-horsepower steam boilers provide the capacity required to support the hospital’s heating, domestic hot water and other steam-dependent systems. The work also included the associated fuel, feedwater, controls, piping and exhaust infrastructure necessary for reliable plant operation.

A boiler plant of this scale requires the coordinated installation of boilers, piping, feedwater equipment, fuel systems, controls and exhaust infrastructure as a complete operating system. CIMCO’s work brought these major mechanical components together within the new St. Mary’s boiler plant.
The completed facility provides St. Mary’s Medical Center with substantial steam-generation capacity and dependable central plant infrastructure to support the hospital campus.
